Hello and welcome to the Cowbell National Secondary Schools Mathematics Competition Assessment portal powered by ASSURE Educational Services.
Each School is required to present their BEST Ten (10) students in Mathematics (five from JSS3 and five from SSS2), irrespective of sex, religion, tribe or state of origin, to enhance their chances of qualifying for the next stage of the competition. To encourage Girl Child Education, we are making a humble appeal that Mixed Schools nominate a minimum two (2) girls for each category to represent such school.

The 2018 Cowbellpedia TV Quiz Show consists of prelims, semifinals and 1 final. Each prelim produces the best three candidates that will move up to the semifinals. The best 2 students in the semi-finals will move up to the finals.

In the first round, 12 objectives questions will be administered for the six participants. The questions will be read and you have 5 seconds to put in your answer else, the system will lock you out. The best three students from the round 1 qualify for the round 2 popularly called the cowbellpedia 60seconds of fame. You have 60seconds to give as many correct answers as possible.

When there is a tie in first round, a set of three questions will be asked from each of the student involved in the tie…their score will not be added to the final score…most correct answers in quickest time will be the judge for second round qualification.
At the end of round 2, the best two students with the highest score from round 1 and round 2 will qualify for the semi-final. Speed and accuracy is the key for qualification to the semi-final
If there is a tie in round 2, the cowbellpedia 60seconds of fame is cut down to 30seconds. Only the highest score from round 1 and 2 will move up to the semifinals. If there is a question you don’t understand in round 2, all you need to say is SKIP.
